While you can select friends for seeing your stories, other friends whom you have not selected will not be able to see or know about your private stories. How to Make a Private Story on Snapchat
If you want to make a private story on Snapchat, you have to follow some easy steps
- Open Snapchat
First, you have to open the Snapchat application on your Android phone or iPhone.
- Go to Profile Icon
After you open the app, you will find your profile icon at the top-left corner of your screen. Tap on the icon.
- Tap on Private Story Button
On your profile page, you have to tap on the “+Private Story’ or “+Custom Story” next to the “My Stories” section. If Snapchat asks you for confirmation about making the private story, you have to tap the “Private Story” button once again.
- Tap on Create Story Button
Now, the “New Private Story” screen will appear where you can choose your friends who can view the story. Search your friends on “Find Friends” and then tap the round-shaped button next to your friend’s name. After selecting your friends, you can now tap on the “Create Story” button.
- Tap on Save Button
On the next screen, you will be asked to rename your story. Provide a name for your story under “Rename Story” and then tap on the “Save” button.
- Open My Stories Section
Once you tap the “Save” button, Snapchat will automatically open your profile screen where you can see your recently created private story under the “My Stories” section. Now tap on the recently created private story section in order to add content. This will automatically open your camera and you can now take photos or make videos.
- Tap on Three Dots
You can also tap on the “three dots” next to your private story to add more photos or videos. By taping on the “three dots”, you can also make suitable changes in your private stories.
